Colorful Patterns

I love patterns in all shapes and forms.
Textile, wall paper, wrapping paper, prints, you name it!
I've been meaning to start doing my own ones and I've been putting it off and putting it off.
Maybe because I wasn't really sure how to start, but you just start like everything else and it usually falls into place.
So here is the first few ones I've finished and lots more to come hopefully!
Funny, how the universe works, this month I've been asked to do a few patterns from designer friends.
I'm very excited to see the outcome!

Happy 4th of July!!

Going off camping this weekend in Woodstock, I'm quite excited!
New York is really starting to heat up now, even with a bit of air condition my studio is getting really toasty,
I'm sweating away and taking lots of breaks with Sprout in the park.
Starting to work on some new drawings, I would love to have another show soon!
Again, the drawings are a bit book based and I'm dreaming of having a show in an old library,
or a house with peeling paint.
Thats always my problem with gallery space,
it has no character, it just a white box, it's a bit boring no?
