Love Letter

I've been kind of m.i.a on my illustration site lately.
Two herniated disk, carpel tunnel and then tons of Folki work has just occupied my stratosphere.
The last blow came this weekend.
My landlord trying to repair my studio roof and didn't finish up the work.
This weekend it was a terrible storm and massive downpour in the Big Apple,
all my stuff got soaked, computer, sewing machine, fabrics and all!
So feeling a tad glum I received this book in the mail and it cheered me up some.
The book is from this show I was in the East of England in February.
The very talented Nicky Peacock gave peeps from all different walks of life the assignment to create a love letter.
Mine was a love letter to childlike imagination and creativity.
The innocent, unflawed source that makes us make things, think about things.
Where there is no argument and speculation about why and how and what for.
It simply is, simply like that and it's beautiful.
