A little elephant named Pinky

Lately I've been figuring out how to make my own gifs, thought it would be fun to make my illustrations shake and groove a bit.

I've also been into drawing elephants, making a pattern for my friend Matt's leather goods.

On another note, me and my now husband Bill got married last friday at City Hall!
It's been a jolly weekend, I hope yours was a good one too...

Belated Valentine

My dear friend Leith asked me to do a little something for her magazine Lula's online scrapbook for Valentine's.

So here is how it turned out and since Valentine's day was a few days ago, I hope you had a good one!

I spent mine with my best friend Claire-bán, celebrating her 30th birthday.

I couldn't have wished for a better night!

Life in a Bell Jar

Life in the bell jar has stopped, birds in the middle of flight, a butterfly resting on a flower, always in bloom.

There is an eerie feeling in those little glass bubbles but also something quite magical and beautiful about them too..

Sometimes I wonder how old these birds are, where they been and seen before they ended up there, perching on a branch, stuck in time.
